Dr Max Coleman was a struggle icon and activist, who supported projects that promoted non-racialism. In recognition and honour of his fight against the injustice of apartheid, Max and his wife Audrey Coleman were awarded The Order of Luthuli Award.  As a co-founder and patron of Kagiso Trust since its inception in 1985, Dr Coleman has made an invaluable contribution to the development of the Trust resulting in the immense growth of the organisation. The Kagiso Trust group now holds key stakes in a variety of investment companies and spanning across various sectors.  In remembering & celebrating his life, Kagiso Trust and the Coleman family held his memorial service on at the Centre of The Book, Cape Town on 9 February 2022.
