Reclaim Your Democracy #StartWhereYouAre

Join Kagiso Trust’s civic and voter education workshops in your district

Your voice, ideas and participation can help shape your community’s future. Through the #StartWhereYouAre campaign, Kagiso Trust’s Civil Society Support Programme (CSSP) team is bringing civic and voter education workshops to districts across all nine provinces.

These community engagements offer an opportunity to learn about local government, explore your role as an active citizen and connect with others who want to make a difference. The #StartWhereYouAre Playbook will also be distributed during the activations, sharing practical steps to Notice, Understand, Report, Organise and Follow up on issues that matter where you live.

Democracy belongs to each and every one of us! Therefore, participation extends beyond election day. Whether you are a first-time voter, a community leader or a resident ready to get involved, you can start with what is around you and help shape local decisions before, during and after elections.

View the district workshop schedule to see where Kagiso Trust will be, check the listed dates and locations and join us!

Share the schedule with your neighbours, friends and community networks so they can join you.
